God doesn't always remove the storm—but He promises to be with us in it. This message reminds us that in suffering, God builds our faith, deepens our love, and fills us with a hope that doesn’t disappoint. We don’t believe God sends suffering to “toughen us up.” But we do believe He’s too kind not to use it to build us.

Our lives will go in the direction of our loudest thought—so let’s make sure that thought is rooted in who He is and what He’s promised.

What does it mean to be a faithful follower of Jesus in a world that doesn’t speak the same language of love, holiness, and hope?

When life feels foggy and discouragement sets in, encouragement becomes the clarity that helps us keep going. This message reminds us not to quit too soon—because we may be just one mile from the breakthrough God has promised.

Comparison kills. It steals joy, distorts our identity, and leads us to discontentment. When we compare our story to others, we lose sight of the story God is writing in us.

As we step into 1 Thessalonians, we’re learning what it means to be a church that doesn’t just survive pressure, but thrives in it—modeling the life of Jesus and multiplying it citywide.

No matter how your story started—or what challenges you're facing now—God is inviting you to finish well by walking with Him in the process. It begins with a soft heart, grows through hope, and is sustained by resting in His presence.

God has placed you right where you are—at home, at work, in this city—so that through your passions and His power, you can bring transformation by living loved, praying for others, caring deeply, and boldly sharing what He’s done in you.

Mission doesn’t start somewhere else—it starts where you are.

You were placed in Austin on purpose, for a purpose. And the question we’re asking as a church is this: What would it look like to own the geography God has given us?
